There’s always one guy that has to announce “There it goes!” Thanks Darr yl, but we all see the big metal tower falling over, that’s why we are sitting in this field.

But not a single ‘Timber!!’.

It’s better than that damn Michelob commercial.
But that’s not saying much.

I found it relaxing but tbh that’s mostly because I’ve had a shite day and this made me forget that briefly.

Welp, I can say this now that Alanis isn’t around anymore: W
e’ll have
to nuke that one from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.

The way (most of them) just hit the ground and “thunk” come to a complete stop is very satisfying.

I agree, that was strangely satisfying.

Like the people that yell out "here comes two" during the countdown before a movie

I gotta say, this makes me sad. Here’s to all the hard working utility structures who gave us their bes t years and now become a sad afternoon spectacle. This includes antennas, water towers, and bridges. Especially the Horton W atersphereoid, [there are like 6 or so in the clip] that smooth onion- looking orb still looking good and modern decades after construction. We should repurpose them as art...painted like a giant gear shift as memorials to a soon to rare sphere not in our parks but in our parked cars. Oppotransition/Oppo transmission!
